A cerimónia dos Oscars realizou-se esta noite no Kodak Theatre em Los Angeles. Sairam dois vencedores, Aviator nas categorias técnicas, com 5 oscars, e o melhor filme da noite (e meu favorito também), Million Dollar Baby, com 4 estatuetas nas categorias principais.

Anteontem não sai de casa e fiquei deitado na cama a ver televisão. O filme que estava a dar na RTP1 era a Selena, papel interpretado pela Jennifer Lopez sobre a cantora assassinada aos 23 anos. Confesso que não conhecia nada da mesma, mas desde ontem que ouço as músicas dela e adoro, em particular estas:

Selena cresceu no meio duma familia humilde que cedo descobriu o gosto pela música. Cantava no grupo da familia, mas ganhou autonomia do grupo, ainda adolescente, lançando-se a solo e ganhando projecção internacional.
A vida dela terminou prematuramente aos 23 ao ser assassinada pela presidente do seu clube de fãs, por esta ter desviado dinheiro dos fãs e a cantora o ter descoberto.

Million Dollar Baby

Hoje dum dos meus poucos programas feitos com os meus pais, e aproveitando a ocasião por ter ido votar, fui dar uma volta ao shopping, acabando por ir ao cinema. O filme escolhido foi o Million Dollar Baby. Confesso que não sou muito fã do Clint Eastwood mas só o facto de ter a Hillary Swank e o Morgan Freeman, era um trunfo. Amei o filme. Não estava nada à espera dum filme tão bom.
Não irei contar a história do mesmo. Apenas que se trata do percurso duma boxeur.

Curiosos? Vão ver o filme...vale muito a pena!

Tem cá o meu voto para vencer os Oscars.

Friendship

Tenho a agradecer a todas as pessoas que me têm apoiado até hoje...essas pessoas tal como eu compreendem o verdadeiro significado da amizade, apoiando-me, ouvindo e aconselhando nas alturas mais complicadas da minha vida.
Amigos são mesmo assim...Sem se preocuparem com religiões, cores, credos, crenças e não só. Essas pessoas só posso mesmo considerar especiais.

Não sei o que posso dizer, a não ser isto...

Muito obrigado por serem as pessoas que são. Agradeço tudo o que tem feito por mim, sempre para me deixar a sorrir.

Olá linda...eu sei quem é o destinatário de todos os posts mas sinceramente fico mesmo sem saber o que possa dizer. O que sinto por ti não muda...tento não mostrar para não me magoar mas sei que ao faze-lo te deixo mais triste...
Eu uma vez disse-te e acredito que compreendes...não quero NUNCA afastar-me de ti porque tens muito valor para mim e para a minha vida. És especial. Tão especial, que nunca tive alguém como tu, independentemente da volta que as nossas vidas levaram. Eu adoro-te mas não quero nunca magoar a pessoa que neste momento é das mais especiais (à minha maneira) para mim e disse-te uma vez que se alguma vez estivessemos juntos (namorados) que eu sei que olharia sempre para os homens (eu conheco-me) e não quero nunca fazer-te sofrer ou sofrer eu por fazer isso a ti.
